Expert & Arbitrator

Most commercial Leases contain a mechanism for rent review disputes to be resolved by the use of a third party Independent Expert or Arbitrator.

An Expert or Arbitrator is usually either nominated to act by the parties, or appointed by a professional body such as the Society of Chartered Surveyors, in accordance with the provisions of the Lease.

Making a Submission to the Expert or Arbitrator:

Qualification:

FIELDEN is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCS), the Irish Auctioneers & Valuers Institute (IAVI), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). 

Acting as Expert or Arbitrator:

Jason Fielden MSCS MRICS MIAVI FCIArb (Dip Arb Law) is regularly instructed to determine the revised rent by acting as an Independent Expert or Arbitrator, by parties involved in a rent review dispute.
